Omah Lay’s drastic rise to superstardom is a phenomenon that cannot be re-created if we’re being honest.
Since his emergence, no one has been able to come close to him. The kid ain’t giving anyone a chance to, either. Two EP’s in two years, and countless hits. It’s a strange success story, whichever way you look at it. That’s what it is.
AV on the other hand has a different story. He didn’t blow up with an EP and have three hit songs at once. No, he came up with one hit, “Big Thug Boys” and shook the airwaves. He had the whole country singing his anthem even before anybody knew who he was.
He hasn’t had a follow-up hit since, and one song we’re kinda hoping would catch on is his latest, “Confession,” a song that has all the elements to become the next big hit.
Omah Lay‘s “Confession,” however, has run its course already. Released as part of Omah Lay’s second EP, “What Have We Done,” the song isn’t exactly the biggest hit on the project but it is a recognizable one. I guess we can call it a hit in its own right.
The songs are different, of course. But if you only had the chance to play one of them for the rest of the year, which one would it be?
AV’s “Confession” Or Omah Lay’s “Confession”?
Let’s hear from you.
